Atelier TRAME

Atelier TRAME is a space for creation where writing, textile practices, memory, and gestures of transmission come into dialogue. Emerging at the intersection of research-creation, embroidery, and literary work, the project explores the visible and invisible lines that move through voices, places, archives, and materials.

Conceived as a living studio, TRAME brings together textile works, writing projects, workshops, and forms of cultural and heritage mediation. Each project develops from a shared concern: to reveal the tensions between the intimate and the collective, memory and territory, text and material.

TRAME is grounded in an ecology of thread

Thread in embroidery, thread in writing: two gestures that echo, extend, and intertwine. One passes through material, the other through language—both inscribe traces, mend fragments, and sustain a tension between the visible and the sensed. In this approach, thread is not merely a tool; it becomes a medium, a relation, a form of memory in motion. Each stitch, each sentence contributes to a shared work of connection, where a way of inhabiting time, bodies, and inheritances takes shape.
